Okay, so. Thing is, I remember how people used to theorize that Imp was Shiva's son because of how similar they looked. But it was officially confirmed by Holly that they are not related in any way, shape, or form. I used to think about that theory quite a lot, and the idea for this AU just bloomed all of a sudden. But it's not just a 'everything is the same except Imp is Shiva's son and they have some insane family drama going on' (nothing against these AUs by the way!) I actually carved a intricately detailed storyline following all I know about reaper lore with some things I added and changed just for the sake of the story. For example, this AU has a term called 'Rift-born'. A Rift-born reaper is the legal heir to the throne of any Rift (TerraRift, AquaRift, and MetaRift) that when of age, will chose a mate and take the throne, carrying on their bloodline. They are mystical beings that came to exist by their parents mixing their characteristics, personalities, and souls in order to create a new life outside of the realm of the living. All of this in their respective Rift. Rift-borns can be told apart from regular reapers by their similarities to the current king and queen, and their extravagant black and gray golden tipped horns (got the golden tipped horns from Shiva's re-design and made it a thing in this-). There's a bit more to that but I'm not here to tell the story (yet). The bloodline I will be focusing on is the TerraReap bloodline. All leaders of the TerraRift (Rift-born or not) carry this surname, and a few of the reapers of this bloodline will be my main focus with this AU.
But that's enough spoilers for now, I'll try to post about it both here, and my instagram (@Foxstar2103 if you're interested in checking out my work), but I can't make any promises because I'm quite busy. I'll be posting the AU on this page (written work), the Fan-Page (random things), the Reaper Headquarters (stuff that matters to the lore), and the Pun Dungeon (memes). (And if anyone actually read this whole thing, I'd like to say thank you! I worked hard on this, and knowing that someone appreciates my work, it's really refreshing.)
