"Brightside" is a villain reformation school nestled on the coast of Halcyon Bay; one of the largest populations of metahumans on earth! This school aims to turn troubled teens into the heroes of tomorrow through elite power training, academic studying, & team oriented assessments. Join Class F as the story of Brightside, a scripted improv roleplay game, unfolds session by session!
Ep.1: Character Creation
Welcome to Brightside- a Masks RPG! With PetPyves as the GM and a talented cast of VAs as the players, Halcyon Bay is in for one heck of a story! Follow the tales of our super-powered teens as they attend the metahuman city’s villain reformation school! This episode features behind-the-scenes action of the players introducing their characters and working together to brainstorm roleplay ideas!
Ep.2: First Day of School!
Riiiiiiiiiinggg! That’s the bell to get to Class F in time for your first day at Brightside: Institution for the Gifted! Meet our colorful cast of classmates as we follow Ms. Hoshea’s guidance during the world’s most comfortable, safe, and rule-following ice-breaker! Pass that beach ball and roll some 1D6’s! It’s time for Amari, Tobe, Sam, Oliver, Sylvia, Connor, & Saturnii’s to shine!
Ep.3: Food Fight!
It’s lunchtime at Brightside Institution for the Gifted! After the confusion of teams being announced, Class F is ready to make their first friends at their new school! But chaos is sure to ensue when a food fight flares up and a strange artifact appears in the halls...
Ep.4: The REEF-Search
Project!
Our school bus is a repurposed garbage truck, there's already a cosplay club, and now we've been assigned a REEF-search project?! There's action at every corner of Brightside as Class F embarks on their first team mission to report on a current event from Halcyon Bay! With a few shenanigans along the way, of course!
Ep.5: The REEF Incident
​The team first comes together against impossible odds! Will Halcyon Bay’s famous villain “Killswitch” get his hands on R.E.E.F.’s newest artifact? Will Lophii be saved? Will anyone get stomped on by a giant ice dinosaur?! Find out as the action revs up this episode of Brightside! KAPOW!
Ep.6: Drama!
It’s Brightside’s very first “drama” session! These are special episodes that focus on a few specific characters and their stories! Taking a break after the hectic events of the R.E.E.F. incident, the team spends time with their family and classmates in many unique ways! Join Sam & Mus’Jio for a cuddly kitten filled warehouse visit, Connor for an interesting interview with the Halcyon Bay News, and help Sylvia sneak past her villain dads to get away with her bad grade report!
Ep.7: The Warehouse
The villain kids of Brightside are here to cause some more trouble! After pestering their favorite star classmate, Tobe, Sylvia, and Lucid decide to investigate (and break into) a haunted warehouse down the street; which just so happens to be Sam’s home?! Sneaking out to commit petty crimes, the kids find out very quickly that the warehouse was never haunted at all; just cursed with bad luck! There is a twist at every turn this episode as Connor and a few unexpected characters join in on the mayhem…
Ep.8: hero or Villain?
It’s time for a paired assignment! Class F picks their partners and gets to work on their projects! Visit Amari’s house and meet their family as Lophii learns more about Halcyon Bay’s beloved Dr. Cosmo! Take a trip to the library with Tobe and Oliver as they nerd out about their project heroes Blue Spark and Queen Bee- who just so happen to work at the school…perhaps they get to meet them? Find out if Caspian and Nuby can get along enough to get a good grade, or, let the events at REEF divide them…
Ep.9: A Promise
The paired hero/villain research assignment continues! Connor and Mus’Jio grab sandwiches from the local Sub 0’s for an unexpected encounter with Tempest! Tobe and Nuby make a definitely not suspicious deal whatsoever. Sam and Miranda show off their powers and try to uncover the mysterious “Promise”...will Sam be able to help Mrs. Mallory remember the tragedy she had forgotten?
Ep.10: Talkin' Smack
Sam’s ghost cat, Scout, leads him into quite a bit of trouble! Apologies on the pier with Amari, Lophii, and plenty of ghost friends as Sam tries to patch things up from the REEF incident! Cosplay Club has its first official meeting at the same time, featuring their leader, Kifah, and the only other members Saturnii, Oliver, and Tobe! Nothing could possibly go wrong with The Oracle (a breathing lie-detector) as their club sponsor! Will anyone’s secrets be safe…?
Ep.11: Light VS Dark
It’s Amari VS Sylvia in an epic rainbow and shadow fight after school! Who will win? Sam and Nuby create a new ghost hunting machine together to solve a mystery surrounding Sam’s new ghost cat, Scout! But the nosiest kid in class heard the two planned on breaking into the school after hours…surely nothing could go wrong! And no one will go rogue- Sylvia and Raven might get up to some trouble of their own, getting back at a certain teacher who wronged them…
Ep.12: Scarecrow's Basement
Tobe owes Nuby a favor; villain tech. Luckily, Tobe knows just the place to get some! Rounding up the “Time Bomb Squad” (Amari, Sam, & Tobe) for the first time, the team heads into the apartment next door which may or may not belong to a very familiar villain; Killswitch…but wait…where does that trapdoor lead? Is this Enigma’s basement?! In an apartment!? Killswitch’s apartment?! What is going on!?
Ep.13: Your Secret's Safe
With Me
With the artifact repaired and Scout missing, Tobe, Sam, and a very different Amari seek out help from their greatest heroes at REEF! While getting autographs along the way, Amari and their brother Niko geek out, Sam chats with the gemstone in his forehead, Tobe and his dads have a scary confrontation, and the team finally addresses the suspicious raccoon in the lunchroom; Nuby! A new friendship forms in the aftermath…
Ep.14: Truths "To Be" Told
It’s time for Brightside: Institution for the Gifted’s annual fundraiser! Watch as Class F spirals into chaos trying to decide how they are going to earn money for the class field trip to “Red Flags”: a local theme park! After class, Sam & Nuby catch up before Tobe steals Sam away to ask about the truth from the warehouse incident…Amari takes a trip to the graveyard in hopes of finding out if their powers are fully restored but find someone else instead…wait…who is that in Tobe’s apartment?! Is someone breaking in!?
Ep.15: Golden Light
The mysterious intruder to Tobe’s apartment…a hero named Golden Light? Will the scion’s villain dads have to work together to stop a kidnapping? Or will Class F of Brightside- Tobe’s friends and classmates- rise to the occasion?! Wait…they have no idea what’s going on? Class goes on as normal?! Wait! Then who’s going to rescue our beloved pirate boy from peril?!
Ep.16: "To Be" A Scion
Fray stops a robbery on the way to school, putting “Dead Weight” behind scarves! A rescue team is finally in order when Tobe’s F.L.A.R.E. sends off a distress signal- the class heads to Tobe’s apartment to find…villain duo Killswitch and Enigma!? An unlikely truce is made as everyone seems interested in pursuing the same goal: kicking Golden Light’s butt and saving Tobe’s!
Ep.17: A Salt & Battery
​Oliver and Russ go on a date at Sub-0’s- but it turns out, there might be trouble brewing between them…Connor and Sam take down Florida Man at the local SpaceTrac convenience store! Class F plans a brawl in the middle of class and Ms. Hoshea finally snaps…the consequences? Dire…
Ep.18: The Illusion of
Black & White
It’s a 2 V 2 match between Tobe and Lucid, and a rematch between Amari and Sylvia! Will the classmates take things too far in this super powered, angsty teenage brawl? Find out as the drama unfolds roll by roll this episode of Brightside! If the nitty-gritty mild cartoon violence isn’t enough for you, just wait until the backstories are unleashed and crushes/relationships develop…all in one day?!
Ep.19: The Tarq When?
Join Class F on a stakeout to find out what mysterious villains have been hanging around Sam’s warehouse at night! An apology party is in order for all the wrongs of the past but Halcyon moves quickly- the bad guys make an appearance and must be stopped! Mus’Jio will reveal a very interesting hideout to escape to…
Ep.20: The Herold of Haunts
​Class F celebrates spooky season with fun activities in class! Such as bribing each other with dangerous chemicals, playing with knives, and threatening to kidnap the teacher! Did the kids have too much candy? Nonsense! Lucid reveals a Halcyon Bay secret that people go missing at the graveyard on Halloween and gets the class to investigate! But nothing could prepare the Brightsiders for what they would find beneath those gravestones…
Ep.21: A-Fray-ed of the Truth
​Tobe & Sam reach out to a Brightside teacher, Mrs. Mallory (Orielle) in an attempt to find support for poor Golden Light. Lunchtime proves to stir up trouble, as Oliver vents his frustrations with the team keeping important details (such as kidnapping, ghost pets, etc.) from him. Raven invites Sylvia and her family to a villain dinner, the team revisits a fallen hero, and when Amari finally reveals the truth to Lophii and Caspian about the ghost they’ve been seeing…huge secrets are revealed!
Ep.22: Awkward Dinners
It’s time for Sylvia’s big “date” with Raven and Black Crow! But can she manage to persuade Shrieking Nightmare, the retired villains, to come along? And can she manage to survive the night without embarrassing them? Tobe & Sam share a horrific dinner combo of Mac’N’Cheese Tacos while Tobe’s parents come to terms with potentially adopting Sam into their home! Fray has a serious conversation with villains before diving into his own awkward dinner with Russ and his mom…
Ep.23: Family Matters
Tobe finally sits down with his fathers, Killswitch and Enigma, to discuss some serious topics, such as reformation, family history, and of course, all their embarrassing highschool stories! Sam, Mus’Jio, Connor, and Amari come to help Sam move from the crashed alien space-ship to Tobe’s apartment! Despite being overrun by cats, it seems as though Sam starts to really fit into the Ricardo household- learning to lean on his new adoptive parents and brother! Amari gets a visit from a familiar hero, asking for help…
Ep.24: Making Spirits Bright
Dr. Cosmo, member of the hero-league “Archipelago”, has asked Amari and their team to take a trip to planet Phytopia to save innocents in danger! Brightside’s first hero-endorsed mission unfolds as Amari is left with the daunting task of saving Wyatt and Josie’s spirits, and returning them to their robot bodies…what antics will these kids get up to in space? And will they be able to aid Halcyon Bay's most beloved idol?
Ep.25: Lost
​The Brightiders continue their adventures on planet Phytopia! Trying to uncover the mysteries of the second artifact, the missing doctor, and a dark power feared by the Tarquin itself. While the team may have gained new friends in Wyatt and Josie, it’s certain that Dr. Cosmo is keeping secrets, and those secrets may lead to doom falling upon Halcyon as soon as they land home…In the meantime, Class F catches up with their families and lives outside of Brightside before chaos begins to unfold!

Tobe and Raajih must dig deep into their villain legacies to uncover the mystery of the Mariana Trench before “war” appears on the shores of Halcyon Bay! Class F must work together to alter the timeline and prevent Mus’Jio’s doomed future from becoming a reality. Join the team and the colorful cast of characters we’ve come to love as they face down their first apocalypse! KA-BOOM! KAPOW!
Ep.28: Yeet the Raccoon!
As the apocalypse continues to spiral deeper into Halcyon Bay, Class F makes their way into the city to seize the robot dinosaurs that arose from the Mariana Trench! Everyone is full of great ideas, such as destroying robot soldiers (with consent), throwing teammates into literal fire, and handing arson to the villains! Nothing terrible happens when super powered teens are let loose in an already burning city- what’s the worst that can happen?
Ep.29: Spread the Disease
The REEF apocalypse reaches its peak as the team comes together to save lost spirits, a burning city, a corrupted doctor, and…each other?! How could this have gone so wrong? Will the power of Comfort Crab be enough to save Connor from certain doom? How will Class F put their powers and minds together to save the day this time?!
Ep.30: Destroy what you're
afraid of
Halcyon Bay is blessed with a moment of peace thanks to the work of our favorite heroes and students of Brightside! But wait, where’s the fun in peace?! Sylvia and Raven will surely get up to no good while all those lame-o heroes are tuckered out…And it seems as though Oliver may have some tough choices ahead of him….oh, alright fine! Let the chaos continue! Especially on the beach where the battle has allegedly seized…
Ep.31: Fish Sticks
​What? You thought just because there was an apocalypse that our hero reformation school would be closed? Nonsense! Class F is back in action, which means drama all around! Will Tobe finally ask out his crush (who may or may not be a shark)? How will Ms. Mortis round up her new students at Brightside? And will Nuby ever truly be trusted by his classmates and team? Find out moment but hilarious moment as the Brightsiders shape the story around them!
Ep.32: Choices
REEF arc’s finale! While the robot-dinosaur siege on the city may have subsided, there are still many mysteries to uncover. How will the team get the artifact back from Phaeoss? What does Lucid know about ROOT? Why are there so many gemstones scattered across the bay? Who will reach Nuby now? Find out as Class F dives deep into the depths of the final chapter of the season!
